A 40-second motion graphics infographic turning Switzerland travel facts into pure visual storytelling — no voiceover, just design.
Infographic storytelling through motion.
A 40-second motion graphics promo created in After Effects to showcase a travel package to Switzerland. The video uses kinetic typography, animated facts, and strong visual rhythm to create excitement and highlight the destination — without relying on voiceover or a presenter.
As the Motion Designer, I led the full creative process from research and storyboarding to animation and final edit. The result is a fast-paced, engaging infographic-style video designed to capture attention and inspire travel.
Selling a destination without saying a word.
The challenge was communicating destination appeal within a strict 40-second runtime using only visuals — no voiceover, no text-heavy slides. Every second had to earn its place.
Four stages from brief to final frame.
Identified eight compelling facts about Japan across food culture, technology, cherry blossoms, clean cities, safety, traditions, scenic destinations, and the travel package itself.
Sketched the narrative arc, planned fact sequencing for emotional pacing, and defined the visual language — icon style, typography weight, and transition rhythm.
Built all animations in After Effects — kinetic type reveals, icon entrances, data visualisations, and layered transitions. Illustrator assets were imported for all vector icons.
Refined timing, pacing, and visual hierarchy. Ensured the 40-second runtime held energy from open to close, then exported and uploaded to YouTube.
